This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from brokers and borrowers, how we use it, our strict SMS opt-in commitments, and the choices you have regarding your data. Information we collect from brokers
When you submit the Request Pricing form or book a call, we collect your name, email address, phone number, brokerage name, province(s) of licensure, years of experience, mortgage volume, case types handled, monthly lead capacity, marketing budget, and your optional SMS communication preferences. We also collect scheduling details when you book a consultation through our calendar integration.
Information we collect from borrowers
Through our lead capture forms, we collect borrower contact details (name, phone, email), mortgage requirements (application type, purchase timeline, property use, property value, down payment, rate type, term), financial details (household income, credit score, employment status), and property location (city, province). Phone numbers are verified using one-time passcode (OTP) verification.
How we use your information
For brokers, we use your information to assess fit, prepare a tailored lead proposal, schedule consultations, provide customer support, deliver purchased leads, and send conversational or informational account updates via SMS or email (if consented). For borrowers, we use their details to match them with a licensed mortgage professional. You can opt out of communications at any time.
SMS opt-in methods, messaging terms, and carrier disclosures
Opt-in to our SMS program meets all CTIA guidelines and is collected exclusively through direct website submission via our Request Pricing form at https://pro.zone.ca/contact. Opt-in is collected through un-prechecked, optional checkboxes and is never required as a condition of receiving services, quotes, or consultations. We do not use paper forms, oral consent, or third-party lead lists for SMS. When you opt in, you agree to receive conversational and transactional text messages from Zone.ca (Zone Pro) regarding consultation scheduling, lead program updates, onboarding, and customer support. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and interactions (up to 4 msgs/month). Message and data rates may apply. You may cancel SMS service at any time by replying 'STOP' to any text message. For assistance, reply 'HELP' or visit pro.zone.ca/contact. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
Strict no-sharing commitment for mobile information and SMS opt-in data (CTIA Compliant)
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services is permitted solely to facilitate messaging services on our behalf (such as telecommunications carriers and CRM platform hosting), strictly under confidentiality agreements. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared, rented, or sold to any third parties under any circumstances.
Lead delivery and CRM integration
Purchased leads are delivered to brokers in real time via email and are synced directly into your customer relationship management (CRM) system. Lead data is shared exclusively with the purchasing broker for the region and lead type selected, in accordance with our Lead Distribution Policy.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share borrower lead information only with the licensed broker who purchases that lead. We may share limited operational information with trusted technical service providers (such as calendar scheduling, email delivery, SMS gateways, and analytics platforms) who assist us in operating our platform, strictly bound by confidentiality obligations.
Data retention
Broker account and inquiry data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legitimate record-keeping and compliance purposes. Borrower lead data is retained according to our Lead Distribution Policy and applicable legal requirements. Leads may be returned within 24 hours of delivery per our refund policy.
Security
We use industry-standard physical, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect your information, including TLS/SSL encrypted transmission, restricted database access, and OTP verification protocols. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
User rights and choices
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link provided in every message, or opt out of SMS communications by texting 'STOP'. You can also contact our privacy team directly to manage your records.
